We're the Sunshine @Sentosa....

1st May 2008:

After a good 2 years, i finally hit the Sentosa beach again! My Islander card states the expiry year to be 2006 so i reckon that was the last time i went suntanning but i recalled there were some events held there when i was still with THE EVENT AGE......Suntanning is damn shiok, we reached there @ ard 1.45pm & the scorching hot sun was burning hot that our heat tolerance level can only take 2hours, anyway i gtg meet Simpsons @4+ so cant stay too long either!

On a typical public holiday, Sentosa will be infested with my beloved nationality the 'ANs', wif their thick,long jeans & some were wrapped with sarong exposing their disgusting hairy chest,ok let's not go further into it. *Adel, u still rem the guy @Dubai with the retro;circular body hair*? Ultimate! So much so on ANs, i even asked Adel if she thinks there will be alot of them appearing today.....Anyway there's this group of very interesting people sitting behind us, not sure which part of europe they are from, but they are damn cute, have their nation's flag surrounding them to form a little community on the beach, they even sang some songs in chorus....I wonder if Sporeans can ever hold that kind of patriotic spirit in them everywhere they go?

Toilet Qs is another thing that i never look forward, well 3 of us had a quick standing shower...that's 1 impt criteria to be a professional tanner!

i'm all Red after the shower, actually i wanted to look less pale for Tricia's wedding tml, just wanna make sure i look red or tann in all the pics vs Ghostly Pale! *Vain*

Met Simpsons & we had our dinner @THE MUSSELS GUYS, honestly nothing much to boast about, darlee, thanks for the belated bday dinner. He saw Adel's backview when she was up the escalator & he commented how come she looks like charcoal but i'm no where near :( Stupid leelee, @least ive attempted to look tan ok.....ive lousy skin.....so what.....ask him to take pics of me, keep taking those angle with my tummy bulging out, crappy bf i've got rite..Look @ his big head......i think u put on alot of weight over the last 2 weeks... *shakes head*, he thinks that ive shrunk...ok that's how long we havent seen each other actually....stupid A**Y...

I like these 2 pics, i think i look damn cute ahhhhhaahaha.....I had black ink squid seafood linguine, not worth the money, but the soup base of the belgium mussels is quite tasty! Yummy......It's another glut day once more! Thanks leelee for the meal.....Went around searching for PINK dress but cant see any suitable ones, gota wear my beachy pink dress to be JieMei tml ....

30th April, Wednesday:

Now u know my title ain't an understatement! Indeed these 2 SINFUL Food can be found @SIMPANG BEDOK! I fell in love with the Cheesy Fries....Yummy for a big plate of fries, $3.50 is damn worth it vs KFC's $2.95 cheese fries....A must try the next time u visit simpang, it's the 89.7coffeshop...but just bear with the servers as most of the melayus cant really gather what we'r ordering! With the rate i'm glutting, i really have no clue how i can reduce those inches......Anyway Rob & I left the coffeeplace becoz i really cant stand the sight of cats all around me, the cats' aura is in the air........

Stan's wedding @PanPac

Stan's wedding marks the 1st wedding-chain events that i need to attend for 2008.....so many people are getting hitched...every year everyone says that's the auspicious year? So when's not an auspicious year since everyday in every year, someone gets hitched.

I felt so bad that i wont be able to attend Angeline's wedding on the 21st coz i will be overseas, last year i was in Dubai during her ROM....supposed to be her JieMei.....*Sorry Angel*

Back to Stan's wedding, today i finally met Jiawei's Gf, nice lady, Weiwei, u've displayed the tinge of sweetness in you.....*lauff* I'm seated with the bunch of Bedok South people + all their GFs/wife....not too boring since i know most of them; must act friendly to fill up all those silent gaps...Tho i dun really fancy or envy the thot of getting married, but the moment of truth present in all wedding alwiz depicts a sense of happiness deeply within me. Last time they used to say that Stan XXXX me.....Still remember our famous beloved Paranoid queen of SIM hated me becoz of Stan.....he's nice, father owns a kopitiam, airforce officer...but i know we'll nv be a pair as he's a hokkien techno guy....Oppsss... *No discrimination towards Hokkien speaking people* Stan & his wife went to join the Lion's club, a voluntary org & they even have this box being passed around during the wedding, for people to donate$$$....Stan told me that he will be leaving for France for 2 years with his wife....All the best Stan...

26th April Sat:
Simpsons Lee cannot meet me again today! So irritating.....Anyway i slept till quite late as usual & met Soya for dinner @Fish&Co, the 4 dishes were simply too much for us, Soya pls refrain from ordering too much next time! Mei joined us later & we adjourned to Soya's house to chill......
I bought a Maybeline eyeliner today (*big clap 4 myself*) I hate applying excessive make-up. I'm lazy & probably coz i nv know how 2 flawlessly paint a beautiful face within a short time (*not becoz i dun hv a beautiful face ok?*) I remember how i need to ask Adeline to teach me how to use the eyeliner correctly or even fangz have to teach me all the proper systematic make-up steps.....Nvm la, someone wif natural beauty doesnt need too much on her face :) Think my bronzer blusher would suffice....lalalalalala & so i spent the nite chatting & drawing & erasing & redrawing a proper line on my mini eyes....Soya said my eyes are too small....yeah i noe......hehe actually i wanted to change a new image....lately felt that having a nicely drawn eye line is very attractive! *giggle*

Doesn't this reminds you of some scene from some XXX horror movie? Red, dim lighting along with red painted toe-nails!! ewwww...i'm having goosepimples all over now!! Welcome onboard to Rob's Xiaohong (Toyota Vios), Rob's my TP dragonboat good fren! Rob, u are so exaggerating can? Everything must be in RED colour, so what if Red is your favorite colour? Hahaha...as usual, My reaction whenever a cat is approaching us has scared the wits out of him whenever we eat @CATS'Infested area......
Little fact of Kat: Why is Kat so scare of Cats?
Many people are puzzled why i have such traumatic fear towards Cats, i can be so paranoid with the sight of them though they might be miles away! Truth reveal: This group of dragonboat guy frens whom i used to hang out with back in poly are the most irritating bunch of boys around, as much as i've enjoyed their friendship & jokes.....this is something unforgivable...We used to eat @kopitiams after trainings, dun understand why all the coffeeshops in Singapore or rather the coffeeshops in the East have so many Cats roaming around. These irritating, immature boys would use their hand and brush across my hands or legs to scare me.....The most irritating was Zachery Wee, he apparently took a cat & placed it right beside my face! *idoitic action* Andrew lim is another idoit, he can simply brush across my leg even when we are @7-11....Their joy is to watch me scream & screeech......Idoits!!!
Ladies, this is how the hunky & muscular guys behave..... *shakes head* So after knowing my plight, pls understand when i scream the next time if you are eating with me at some kopitiam!
Question: Is there any outdoor coffeeshop in the east with no cats around?

Rajesh's Last day @ P&G

25th April, Friday:

I believe all those who know how hard Rajesh has been @work would have felt heavy-hearted today for she will leave us today.....she's simply the victim of a vicious devil....shitty M.....We all hate Shitty M, so what if she is Preg now, doesnt mean she can have her own ways....4 all those shit that she has bestowed upon Rajesh...she'll get her retribution one day!

I'll definitely miss my 1st Fren in P&G~My indian Fren :), for all those times when i acted like you are my personal assistant :) I salute you.... I wish you all the best for your future career, 4 all you know it might be a blessing in disguise, the more you sit on the shit job, it becomes shit eventually :( ......It's just Good Nite & not Good Bye, i'm very sure we'll be very much in contact! Thanks for your dessert.....yup this thick-skinned babe wants to have sweet memories of her so she gave us a treat @Bakerzin while we gave her a lunch treat! Once again, i must emphasize that the menu structure @ Bakerzin Sucks big time, service is pretty slow too..... But i enjoyed my Strawberry mint freeze & Sausage Spicy Olio Aglio....worth tasting!!!

24th April, Thursday: Luncheon @ Les Saveurs~ St Regis......

Every year, Regina Yeo~Head of the Admins in P&G will organise a Luncheon for all the admins, so the bosses will pay from their own pocket to sponsor their admin, if you've more than 1 boss, the cost will be spilted across. Though my role is Project Assistant, i do have to support my boss admin work, thus i'm admin in some sense...dual role....my boss Susan decided to give me a treat. Of course there's the attractive goody bag full of P&G pdts as you can see, i've won myself a Braun shaver too! My luck's quite goog given the fact that i barely have any affiliation to winning !

Coincidently, the day when we were @ St Regis, we witnessed the much publicized wedding of the year ballroom setup~not sure if anyone has read about the Dubai Prince marrying a rich local indian entrepreneur's daughter, there will be a ritual ceremony @st regis the very nite...omg i read in the papers that they have a total of 6 celebrations, the main wedding @shangrila hotel featured the groom entering the entrance in a white horse! So lame......2.5million worth of match-make marriage.....

Belated Birthday Celebrations!

Birthday Celebrations used to be extravagant & somehow it alwiz seems to be a festive season for me, coz it will be @ least a 1week affair, dinning with different groups of frenz, getting prezzies of all sorts, well Frenz said that it's never easy to get things for Kat...True to a certain extent coz people often buy what they deemed as 'Kat's style' items!

Now that i've aged (OMG!), i guess friendship & the little actions mean so much more than the materials items....Oh of coz i do have my expections when it's prezzies coming from my beloved!

14th April 2008, Monday:


Lunch: My clique of colleagues~Rajesh,Phoebe & Xiuhan gave me a treat today @Mingles, as usual the signature dish we alwiz reco will be rosti with sausages (*Look @how mesmerised Raj & Fobe were wif the sausages*)...yummilicious.....along with the pumpkin soup, free drinks & dessert.....we glut like Pigs.....Sindy saw me @Mingles & gave me a hard stare coz i rejected jeannie & her invitation :) Sorry....i simply can't resist the thot of those yummy dessert.... & of coz there's a price to pay for pigging when i've not even recover from my sickness~Diarrhoea after lunch....

Dinner: Went over to SPH to wait for John to hitch a hike back to his house to prepare a feast...well besides celebrating my bday, we are also having our last gathering @his house be4 his marine parade residence is sold off....went to cold storage to get some ingredients...was helping him with minimum amount of work, he simply gets so Paranoid, so glad when Jo came...Jo U'r rite, John's behaving like he's some big chef from Hell's Kitchen......Hehe......anyway we had a good fair share of fun~Chunky Clam Chowder soup~garlic bread~carborana~corn niblets~ & Jo pls nv ever try garlic butter with corn, it will definitely taste horrible!

The best part was John simply left Jo & me alone in his house when he went out 2run errands, Chris came around 10+ after her swimming lessons, gosh to top it up John came bk with 10 chix wings from old airport rd, honestly i can feel my intestine bursting....last dish of the nite was the costly cheesecake from swiss bake....muacks! Thanks Jo!

15th April, Tuesday:

No celebration today but went to THE LEGENDS @ fort canning park with Fobe for food testing & ballroom inspection for the upcoming GBS LT Meeting! Since fobe will be on leave during the 2nd day of the meeting, ive to help her coz my beloved boss is not in S'pore.....Fobe...u owed me lotza!!! Food at the chinese restaurant is really so-so, we had dimsum....Fobe said that i'm too picky but i dun really think i'm that fussy.....or maybe i am *shrugs*

17th April , Thursday:

Lunch @ Bakerzin: Thanks Jeannie & Sindy for the sumptuous meal! Never know that their pasta can be that delicious, love the olio sausage pasta Sindy had, spicy & appetizing! But i must comment that Bakerzin should really change the menu structure, not only it is confusing but their dishes are all over the menu, requires lotza time to decide what you want if you want to order the set! Sindy the avid facebook fan realised that this is my bday week, this is the reason how the whole lunch gathering came about :) Thanks to my 2 very important working partners...keke......

18th April Friday: Exciting Friday Nite Out with the 2 BOYS!
3 of us were so looking forward for tonight, our plans were either to chill @TCC & play cards or to go KTV after our singging class.....mind you i still have sore throat, but insanity got over 3 of us, we adjourned to Marina Square KBOX, rushing to buy dinner @subway & mos burger @raffles city!

Thanks to the 2 boys, though i have barely know them for less than a year, they are such young sweet thing, let me show you what they gave me & you will know~sweetness from 2 21years old boys......Thumbs up, i'm so sure that gers will just fall onto both your arms!

They went to insert our 1 & only pathetic trio pic together into the starbucks flash! Really damn nice & touched leh, as much as i always like to do small little arty items for people, i'm equally excited when people give me handmade stuff :) That's not all, they went to get this bear which can record sound & as self-obsessed as they can be, they recorded their own version of HAHAHAHA (as quoted by the chinese VAT drama serial ) Happy birthday song for me!! :)

By 4am when the session ended, we all looked like zombie & sound so sexy! I wanted to catch a cab back home & sleep but these 2 sweet young thing said they were prepared to stay till 6am to wait for the 1st train home! *faint & roll eyes big time* So we had breakfast @the HK cafe & played mastermind....my eyes are closed most of the time & honestly the food sucks big time. If it wasnt the fact that it's open during the wee hours, i dont think the food is that fantastic.....

Throughout the breakfast & mastermind session, 3 of us were busy eavesdropping @the conversation of this group of disgusting wannabes a few tables away, 1 of the guy is actually some wannabe star we've met at the music school, can't stand him, cant speak & wanna act to be some pro-emcee...his wannabe galfrenz all called him 'XIAO BAI TU' *pukes!

By 6am, 3 of us walked from marina sq to the train station & we waited in the rain for empty cabs , waiting was so a pain when all 3 pairs of eyes can hardly open! arghhh

I reached home @ 630am & slept thr till 8pm the next day :) The power of sleeping :)
